Keep practicing on your art thought. I'm sure you'll improve if you find a certain style you wanna use.
But it's true, Skelly and Burst have started sniping more.

I'm a reluctant sniper...I prefer to see my enemies die from the rays of awesome shining from my backside :3
..It also explains my most used weapons in fallout 3 being the smg, shishkebab(well, also Fisto!, the DC glove) and dart gun (hence my -extremely- high ability to reduce a combat armor to tatters in the space of a session and subsequent repair debts) as I love killing the deathclaws, raiders and other scum of the wasteland like some knight in shining armor, parrying blows and meteing out justice..
That said, sometimes popping campers heads is fun^^
