I mean NFS has always evolved illogical street racing, police pursuits, car modifications, etc. Shift looks like your normal professional racer. I believe the NFS series has tried something like this before with the Pro Street (I think) game. It was ok, though I found games like Underground/Undercover, Most Wanted, Hot Pursuit, all far more enjoyable. The way Shift looks, I honestly don't have really high hopes for it. Sure, ... It's weird, but the only customise option I can find is in career mode. In quick race, you have 3 options when picking a car, (stock, career, my car) but I can't seem to find the customation option. I must say, the graphics are great, even on PS2. The started cars are great as well, being a muscule car freak, it's no surprise I picked the Dodge Challenger The gameplay is better then I expected, the cars handles great and the courses seem spot on. In my PS2 game I had a choise of 3 starter cars to pick from, in my friends, we where given the Nissian240SX (think thats the right name). The cars handles differently in the 2 games and even the courses appears to be different. I also found the XBOX version somewhat harder as I was having a little trouble, but was flying though my game. Of course, the XBOX had better graphics.
