Raging blast demo

So what does everyone think now the raging blast demo is out?

I was very dismissive of RB before the demo. I just saw it as a cheap cash in of the tenkaichi series with barely any improvement even in the graphics and fewer charecters, and swore that I would not buy untill RB3 which would be the best.

However the demo really has reminded me just how fun playing the BT games was and the graphics are actually pretty sweet on my HD tv.
So now im slowly getting swayed towards the buy when the price drops area (its still not different enough to warrant £50 in my opinion)

What are your impressions?

It was shit compared to BT3.
Graphics are nice, though.

The demo itself was nothing impressive.
Aside from the graphics that is.

The game itself doesn't look bad per say.
BT3 still is better, even though the graphics are not as great as this one.
I see this one more as "A tenkaichi game for PS3".

I've been waiting for a good DBZ game for PS3. I think this one will do for now... BL was shit, and this one looks to be good enough to actually do the job for a year or 2. Plus online is something I've been waiting for on a Tenkaichi game, so yeah, I'm getting it either way. Just to have a Tenkaichi styled game for PS3.

I downloaded the game from the US store earlier this week, and I've spent a little bit of time with it. My biggest gripe are the rather awkward controls and the terrible camera, but hopefully the full game will allow us a degree of control over both of those issues. Gameplay wise, it's solid, and though I do miss some of the BT3s teleport finishers, the way special moves can be used in combos does feel much more organic than BT3s system. Needless to say, the game looks great in HD too, noticably better than Burst Limit.

Will I buy it immediately? Probably not. I've still got lots of PSP games I haven't started yet, and I reckon the price will drop pretty quickly, so I'd expect to see it half price after Christmas.
