Fullmetal Alchemist

Post by Sly on Sun 18 Oct 2009, 9:54 pm

Yep, I started watching this.
Finally.

One Piece episodes are running out at the moment, so that leaves me with an opening to watch another one.
And FMA is that one.
I'm only up to episode 3, but the 3rd really made me wanna watch the whole thing.

I already planned on doing it, but thanks to that episode, I really got interested more!

Another Anime that caught my interest was Air Gear. So I'll watch that someday too.

Are there any other animes involving elemental stuff and with good action, like One Piece for example.
One Piece is all about adventure and action and has "superpowers" involved. So what else is out there that's like that? Smile

Kannagi is also a nice choice along with Negima?!, Busou Renkin, Toradora, mahoromatic is funny too but its a little ..... um what can i say ..... a little perverted Embarassed

just kidding but you might see some boobies here and there Smile

Negima, Busou Renkin and Toradora?

Plesae, the guy needs a cool, manly anime to watch, like Samurai Champloo or Gurren Lagann or Elfen Lied.

I'm on episode 419 and I like having an episode to spare whenever I want so I'm slowing down.
But after FMA I was planning on watching FMA: Brotherhood (obviously....)

And I'll look into those others you guys mentioned.

Yeah, FMA is a cool little anime and it has one of the BEST dubs ever made. Vic Mignogna is an amazing voice actor.

I'd say watch at least up to 421, because 422 is the start of Impel Down...

And FMA: Brotherhood is basically a remake only this time it's close to the manga instead of breaking off from it. It's not worth getting into it yet anyway. Won't get dubbed until January and the Japanese version is terrible.

The Japanese version also has a bunch of new voice actors. Like I said. Terrible.

I see.
Well thanks for the info Kaio.

Guess Brotherhood isn't needed then.
I thought it was the "sequel" like Dragonball Z follows Dragonball.

Héh.
I might watch Bleatch some day then.
Naruto doesn't exactly....catch my interest...
Bleach might not either but it's worth checking.

Bleach is pretty good until manga volume 22.
That'd be episode 63 as the last one.
After that it turns pretty bad, although it has some moments.

Naruto is good until around episode 108, then everything revolves around Sasuke. It's pretty cool for around four episodes, then the rest is emo and crap.

Yu Yu Hakusho is awesome till episode 94, but the rest till the end (episode 112) is cool too.

Bleach is the closest you'll get to a show like DBZ which is all about fighting and powerlevels. If you like DBZ you'll like Bleach. Yu Yu Hakusho is 10 times better though.

Naruto part 1 is pretty amazing. It's very much like both Dragon Ball and One Piece. It's not until post-Sasuke Retrieval arc that things go way downhill.

If I had to compare them:

One Piece>>DB>>TTGL>YYH>>DBZ>FMA>Bleach>=Naruto>>>>>>>>>>Naruto Shipuuden
