Dragonball and OP manga

Had the chance to buy these today, on some book-event in Antwerp.
It had the whole Dragonball and DBZ manga in small booklets, each being 2,50€.
Same for One Piece but that only went up to the Arlong Saga.

I didn't buy them, cause all were in Dutch.
And I hate that!

I prefer them in English....
I just can't read my favorite animes (in this case the manga version) in dutch...
It just has to be english.

I have the Dutch and English manga and the Dutch version is 10x better. English version is full of 4Kids terms, mistranslations and random Japanese terms (Kami Eneru).

Got all One Piece and Dragonball in Norwegian, much better than the English version.

Well, I found them again, but somewhere else.
Decided to buy the One Piece ones anyway. After reading a bit, it's true I don't regret it at all.
It's not half bad in dutch but it's prolly mostly due to me having seen the OV in anime and just knowing the name of the attacks or just knowing what happened at that moment.

Got booklet 3 > 9. They didn't have 1 & 2 anymore sadly
And apparently 9 is the last one they had.

One problem with Dutch OP is the slow release schedule. It's bi-monthly (which is actually pretty fast if you compare it to American releases), but the manga started so late that the gap is huge. That's why I have the American releases, which win me over till the Dutch counterpart comes out.

I swear the American OP is written for 8 year olds.

Isn't their some "uncensored" english version of the manga. *sigh*

Well, I'm happy with the Dutch one for now.
Not gonna get the DB/Z manga though. I dunno why but it just doesn't call out to me as much as OP.

I remember I got a Dragonball Z manga, Chapter 31 or something in Italian at some random magazine station at a main bus terminal.

I only knew what was going on 'cause I saw the anime.

In the Norwegian version they call him "transen", which is a really demeaning word for "the transvestite".
